A brilliant (and free) Japanese garden. It is small but it's peaceful and can be found practically empty on weekdays. It closes at 5:30pm.

This bar/restaurant has great drink/meal promos through the week. Recently refurbished and has a great vibe. "The Havey" is usually full on Fri/Sat with revellers but it's much too far away to hear.

Unlike the General Havelock, this is a local's pub with not a lot in terms of atmosphere. Despite the recent renovations the pub is quiet and draws an honest crowd for a pretty decent bistro meal.
