Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 120 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Bain’s Beach apartment is refurbished to a high standard. Lovely harbour views overlooking Lerwick’s ‘urban beach’ in the historical ‘sooth end’ of old Lerwick. A quaint, quiet spot ideal for sea swimming. Amazing viewpoint for many sea-going vessels, wildlife, seabirds, otters and occasional orcas! Close to high street shops, eateries, cinema and coastal walks. Ideal when visiting annual Lerwick Up Helly Aa, Shetland Folk Festival, Shetland Wool Week, including nature, music and local events.

We have 3 self-catering in-house open plan, adult only, apartments; Mogill sits alongside Soothpunds on the Northeast of the main building. This quaint apartment offers stunning panoramic views, looking north to the cliffs of Noss & across the east horizon. Enjoy beautiful morning sun rises from the patio with summer BBQ area, taking in natures best. Whether in bed, dining or sitting, one is surrounded by breathtaking views. Our local beach is mins away, 25mins to Lerwick, 40mins to the North.

'Spindrift' is a traditional white 2-bedroom cottage situated almost upon Levenwick’s sheltered sandy beach. Levenwick is conveniently located on the South Mainland of Shetland, half way between Lerwick and Sumburgh Airport and close to many attractions. It has a regular bus service. From Spindrift you can stroll to the beach, launch boats from the sand and take cliff walks.

Sea Winds, is a newly renovated c. 1760 two-storey listed townhouse located in the picturesque south end of Commercial Street, Lerwick. Close to the BBC series 'Shetland 'Jimmy Perez' home', and minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs in Lerwick, Sea Winds makes an excellent base to tour the isles.
