Slumber between high-thread-count sheets in comfy beds with hand-made layered headboards in this renovated downstairs unit of this 1930 historic duplex. The southern colonial architecture tied with a contemporary/rustic chic ambiance features ceramics, abstract canvases, handmade decor, and other bright wall accents, plus original wood trim and floors.
A unique and memorable experience as a home away from home. Located 2 miles from NRG and Downtown and 4 miles from Galleria, Belle Vie at The St. Julien Place is a two bedroom, two bath downstairs apartment with a contemporary chic ambiance. The building is a renovated 1940 historic home with original wood trim & floors, divided into two completely separate duplex apartments, one up and one down (this is the DOWNSTAIRS unit). Duplexes are very common for this part of the country. They are like separate condos. It has a gated driveway entrance to the parking area in the backyard with key code access and is on a tree lined street, with professional landscaping. This off street private parking fits four automobiles.
We provide a lockbox for the unit with a set of keys available in it. The code is changed for each booking to have a secured experience. living room, is equipped with a flat screen TV, and the entire apartment has high speed internet Wi-Fi. We try to take cleanliness to the next level. We are very particular about making sure your experience will rival any 4 or 5 star hotel.
This home is centrally located very close to Downtown in the transitional historic community of Riverside Terrace adjacent to the Museum District area. The community also neighbors the Historic 3rd Ward and many other neighborhoods of great history and lifestyle offerings. It is known for being surrounded by the higher learning and prestigious universities of Houston, art centers, museums, and cultural locations. There is a beautiful golf course at Hermann park less than a mile away for all golf enthusiasts. Hermann park is a 445-acre urban park, which also includes the Houston Zoo, the Centennial Gardens, the Japanese Gardens, the Marvin Taylor biking and running trail, reflection pool, picnic areas, McGovern Lake, Boat Lagoon, and Miller Outdoor Theater. All major stadiums are also within a 3 mile radius (NRG Stadium, BBVA Compass Bank Stadium, Minute Maid Park, Toyota Center).
**I DO want to disclose that this is a "transitioning" neighborhood. Although we have a gated property, for 18 years it was not gated and we have never had a security issue. The community is made up of diverse mostly historic homes with the average home ranging from $300K to $850K. There is a neighborhood bar a few blocks away whose patrons park near our street and can be a little noisy on weekends. This is NOT someone's home. You won't have to "work around" someone else's living space and personal things. We are in the business of providing you and your group with a better than home experience. We have tried to mimic every detail you would find in an expensive Hotel, with the amenities of a home.
Guest access
Guests can access the property 24 / 7. We use a lockbox with your own private code that is active only for your stay. There is private parking for two cars per duplex apartment (four total) and plenty of free street parking. We are also close to the metro service and light rail.

I am definitely available to assist guests in whatever they need before, during or after the stay. I am only a text message or phone call away.
Events / Gatherings:
All events, parties, receptions, dinner parties or gatherings must be approved prior to booking. Just send a request with the details of your event. I would love to assist you with your affair.
Minimum Age of Guests:
Please notify me if you are booking for guests that are 21 years or younger, prior to making the reservation.
Early Check-in / Late Check-out:
Can be accommodated if it does not impact another guest who is leaving or arriving. Please keep in mind we need enough time to clean the property in-between stays.
As a guest you will have:
1. Access to Wifi Internet and Great HD flat TV entertainment that gives access to all Local TV Stations, ESPN, Hulu Plus, Netflix, HBO Go, and digital rental options.
2. A full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, cookware, dinnerware, and utensils.
3. A Keurig coffee maker with option of various coffee flavors and teas.
4. A relaxing backyard balcony patio with a patio table and chairs to enjoy the beautiful weather while relaxing, reading or eating.
5. In addition to fresh linens and bath towels, you will be provided with soap, shampoo, lotion, a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board.
6. There will be extra blankets for TV watching or to provide additional warmth when sleeping.
7. Feel free to use both closets in the bedrooms and the dressers for your clothing.
8. The sofa will pull out into a full size bed for additional sleeping room.
9. Free private and secure gated parking with coded access.
10. A secure environment monitored by security cameras around the outside of the property and with alarm systems in each unit.
I personally will be available to make your stay the best experience possible. However if I am not, the property's concierge, will always be available and may be present upon arrival or departure. This home is centrally located neighboring the Texas Medical Center (2.5 miles from MD Anderson) and close to downtown in the historic residential neighborhood of Riverside Terrace, bordering the Museum District area. Surrounding it are Houston's top universities (Rice, University of Houston, and Texas Southern), art centers, and cultural locations, with Houston's largest park, the Zoo, and a golf course a stroll away.
The St. Julien Place provides easy access (within 2 blocks) to the highway that can take you to any part of the city of Houston within 15-20 minutes. The city's major attractions are a bike ride away (downtown, midtown, Museums, Art Galleries, Houston Zoo, etc). Less than a mile away is the Metro rail system that can take you to various parts of town including all the sports venues, GRB Convention Center, Houston Zoo, Downtown, Midtown, and Medical Center. This residence is within 5 minutes driving range from Upper Kirby, Midtown, Downtown and Montrose and 10 minutes driving range from the legendary Galleria Mall. This is one of the best centrally located neighborhoods in Houston.
