From the cottage you can be on farm tracks within a couple of minutes. Country walks circle Hodsock Priory and you will often hear wedding celebrations when you wander past! Come at the right time of year and the private grounds are open to the public to walk through the woods and enjoy the carpet of snow drops or bluebells.

Open gardens from 10th February 2018 until mid-March displaying an impressive collection of snowdrops. There is also a pop-up cafe open at this time. Costs £5 per person to enter, or £4.50 if part of a group. Also open during Bluebell season.

The seasonal Bluebell walk is amazing. Hundreds of varieties. Who knew?

A great historic place to walk around the garden or go pony trekking. The family home of the Sheriff of Nottinghamshire Sir Andrew Buchanan
